Firmware Updates
Local firmware flashing via the web interface, and what's still unconfirmed.
The Gateway's local web interface (accessed via its hostname, e.g. viot-gateway-xxxxxx.local) includes a System → Backup / Flash Firmware page, confirmed in the Gateway User Manual's interface screenshots. This lets an administrator upload and flash firmware directly through the browser while connected to the Gateway.
Remote/OTA update mechanism — confirm before publishing
The manual confirms local, manual firmware flashing through the web UI, but doesn't document a remote or automatic over-the-air (OTA) update mechanism delivered via the Gateway's active internet backhaul. Whether OTA updates exist, and how they'd be triggered and rolled out across a fleet of deployed Gateways, should be confirmed with engineering before being described to customers.
